On this album Accordeon Melancolique artists Cherie and Jean-Pierre are joined by a variety of musicians (guitar, sax, double bass and percussion) during live performances. The energy that comes from this album is contagious and you cannot help but get up and dance to most of these fun and beautiful tunes. I especially like La Nena, Passé Composé, L’imparfait du Coeur, Mango and Terezinha, written by G. Goncalves. I was familiar with Cesaria Evora’s rendition of Terezinha and am impressed with these musicians instrumental verison of this beautiful song.
